In a final match for both teams ahead of the World Cup break, the Chicago Fire and the Colorado Rapids will both be looking to battle it out to go into the break on a continued winning streak.
The Rapids are currently sitting 3rd right now in the Western Conference and with a win tonight, they should be able to advance to 2nd place as I just don’t see the Galaxy taking a loss to 2nd place Real Salt Lake right before the break.
As for the Fire, they are currently in 4th place with just 13 points in the east and just 2 points shy of dropping to 5th place. A loss here tonight at Toyota Park might see them take a step down in the Eastern Conference.
